Making my way home, a bunch of boys I call friends, suddenly told me about a dark spooky forest that we should go and check out. It was known for ancient wars in the 1860s. I made and dumb choice to go without my mum knowing I was gone. They were telling stories as we were making our way to the forest the stories were making me shiver covered with goosebumps all over my body.

As we arrived I suddenly started to know that this was not a great idea as I started to see all tall trees above my head swaying side to side in a very scary way. I started to shiver even more as the leaves were dropping off above touching my nose gently. Birds singing zooming past my ears, hearing heavy grows deep within the forest seeing dark shadows sprinting past. I felt so emotional walking light tip-toeing my way when suddenly I heard Raenan’s loud yell leaving deep scratches in the soil of the ground.

The dark shadow from hell started approaching us as we're getting closer and closer to each other, each holding big fat logs as our weapons to defend our self. Growls approaching heavily seeking from every section we look at. I counted to 3, “1,2,3” Every evil living thing started attacking as we were thrashing our logs side to side with a blood pool all over my body. When everything just varnished and saw the car park on the other side of the forest, we sprinted like never before in our lives. Sprinting home safe again not to forget how scary and kind of fun that was I am never going to forget what happen that night.

Malala amazing story

Over a week ago a girl named Malala was shot in the head, by the Taliban, for her role in campaigning for education for girls in her country. Though this disastrous shot went through the 15 year old girls head she managed to survive. Due to the damage caused to the head, her parents say, it was a miracle for their daughter to survive a dangerous gunshot.

Nearly a week after the gunshot, Malala was taken to the United Kingdom (UK) hospital and stayed there recovering from her injury. Even though she got shot in the head, where the brain is, she is still strong while in recovery. Out of all girls in Pakistan that wanted to be educated but couldn’t because of the Taliban, Malala was the bravest of them all.

Maori Fairy Tale, By Ahsin,And Samuela

Long ago there was a girl that lived in Whakatane up the road from Rotorua . The little maori girl would always wear her Korowai (feather cloak) when she was to leave her whare (house) , everyone in her tribe called her the Whakatanein.

This one beautiful morning she asked her whaea (mother) if she was allowed to visit her grandmother, because she hadn't seen her in quite a while. Her whaea said “that’s a good idea Whakatanein”  So they made a basket of kai to take.

While she was strolling down the narrow path picking up kumara from the soil to take to her grandmother’s house, she saw a dark shadow approaching her and it was a scaly, hairy taniwha . She was so scared that she used her french stick in her basket to hit the taniwha however no damage was done.  So then she got out her big 6 foot snapper and slapped it across the face of the hairy monster repeatedly. Off she sprinted in her toe nikes leaving the taniwha in her dust.

Once she could no longer smell the taniwha she started walking down the path safely again .... not realising that the taniwha took a shortcut to Whakatanein  grandmother’s house.  Whakatanein got to her grandmother's house and knocked on the door while the taniwha was in the bed acting like the old grandmother.

Then she opened the door with her pukana face and saw her grandmother that had very big sharp teeth with big scaly ears and snake like eyes.  She knew that it wasn't her grandmother so she started playing around with the stupid taniwha so she made food for the creature and got a very poisonous fish that was a  spike thorn fish that was sharper than a hedgehog  and fed it to the taniwha and killed it but out of nowhere she  got her patu that her papa had carefully carved and whack its head back and forth encase the poison hadn’t finished it.
After taking care of the taniwha the grandmother reappeared from fainting after fighting with the monster she felt pretty happy after everything got taken care of, grandmother made some fried snapper with kumara for everyone around the village and everyone lived happily ever after enjoying the big feast.

The End
To all the people in whakatane hows it going bro.

Running Cross Country 2012

Just minutes away from the  annual occasion the school cross country. My group age (The 12 year old boys) got ready to run the course. This is going to be one of the hardest and grueling events ever in Pt England School.

Ready.... Set..... Go!!, as the 12 year old boys were jogging lightly down our school field. Splash!!, “OH NO” my shoes were sucked in strongly from the thick boogie greasy mud. As my shoes first hit the mud I felt stink because I knew straight away something bad was coming my way. The thick gooey mud smelt like poop all around the place.
Struggling to balance as I was wobbling side to side trying to pull my shoes out of the mud. I barely made it through the quicksand but my shoes were overloaded with the gooey mud. I will just imagine what my mother would say when I get home with dirty shoes.

Covered in mud from head to toe, I was glad to see the finish line when I hit the final turn. Struggling to accomplish the race as I was one foot in front of the other trying to hold off my challenger. Crossing the line, with feet burning I was completely exhausted as I collapsed in a heap. After the race I noticed that I have transformed from being a human to being a pig covered all over with thick greasy mud.

“Yesss!!!” Finally, just a few steps away from ending the hardest event that I thought was endless.

Visiting The Life Education

This term we have been visiting harold and we have learnt loads of things about making good choices. I have learnt that if you make bad choices it can lead you to very bad consequences. I have watched very sad and bad things that happened to people in the caravan  that didn't care about their body and didn't take charge of themselves , they have chose to keep on doing what they do all because of an addicting thing, Smoking. Smoking can cause very bad things in your life that wouldn't be necessary.

After all of the horrifying things I have learnt, I have chose to make the right choice and keep my body healthy. I hope that in the future I don’t change my mind about this because this is quite serious. Healthy and good choices will be in my mind for ever.
So, start making good choices and keep ourselves healthy. If you want to live long live it good.

Learning New Basketball Techniques

On the 26TH of July there were 2 tutors that were from the Auckland basketball, also their names were Tai and Shay. They were here to teach us different skills and techniques. The techniques Tai and Shay taught us was dribbling, jump stops, passing and the one, two( a type of catching technique). Some of the techniques were mainly about dribbling the ball and the technique of how to bounce it. Later on Tai gave us some challenges that include or involve all of the techniques.  All the techniques Skills and experiences that our 2 tutor taught us was amazing and awesome, can't wait for the next basketball lesson and learn new techniques Wednesday.

30th Olympiad

It is the 26th -  just 1 day away from the 2012 opening of the olympic games in London.

London will be the first county to have ever hosted 3 olympic games. It first hosted the olympics in 1908  then 1948 and now hosting the  2012 olympic games. London is a very majestic and modern city to go to with a lot of history. Well known locations like the Big Ben clock tower and Buckingham  Palace are the backdrops for many of the venues.

All time winning gold medalist Michael Phelps is going in to are very tough swimming tournament hoping to win his 15 gold medal in the 100 meter freestyle. Also the world's fastest sprinter Usain Bolt in a challenging spot with fast sprinters running partner Yohan blake, and american, Tyson Gay. I wonder who will triumph?

The events  that I am looking forward to in the 2012 London olympic games are the 100 meter, 200 and relay race, and hoping that my favorite team jamaica with the fastest man in the world Usain Bolt and team partner Yohan Blake will take out the gold medals for Jamaica.

Lord Of The Rings

The rings were presented in 1914 in paris congress, the symbol of the rings were there to memorialize the 20th anniversary of the modern olympic games. that there were 6 olympic colours each ring has different colours and each ring represent countries that has been involved in the olympics for years.

Blue representing  Europe, Black representing  Africa, Red representing America, Yellow representing Asia, and Green representing Australia (Oceania).

My Favourite Place THE CHILL OUT

My favourite place in the whole entire school is one of the best places to relax and chill out with your mates and enjoy watching people playing on the field, and laughing at funny jokes, this place is just an old ordin  tree that lies near the big rugby field and the teachers staff room. This tree has been at Pt England school for a few years since I was here, this tree is probably most important to all the teachers for a lot of reasons.

One of the biggest reasons why I like this tree is that it will be a very good time to go there when it is a hot sunny day and away from work and giving any of the teachers a bad time at school. Sometimes I go there to relax with mates away from other things that are happening in life. But mostly to me this place is special because it makes me more relaxed and peaceful.

My Character Description About My Friend Samuela

My character Samuela is not short not tall but the right size for a 12 year old skinny and fit  and dreaming to have a 6 pack before the end of the year.Short black kind of afro hair to match me  . His eyes are brown as the chocolate we eat.Very small beefy flat wide nose  .Ears that are small but the version of a league star  , lips that are skinny and thick but right for a human bean.

Samuleas personality, Is that he is athletic loves to play sports which are rugby, rugby league, softball and most other sports . He is very cool to be around you and very kind helps others around him like little kids and friends. One of the reasons I like hanging out with him is that he likes to tell very funny jokes and cracks himself up so hard that he  laughs for a long period of time, does very funny faciles after a joke. One of the best reasons why people are friends with is that he is very humble don't make trouble to people, likes to help other people if they need help with a mistakes and encourages you when you need it.

Camp Highlights

My best highlight for camp last week was the last day going to swimarama, as I was there it was a bit weird that  lanes were still in the pool, but the teachers said that there were going to be special people training . As campers were having fun in the pool, in the diving pool on the very long dark slide, Wow could my eyes believe that the Warriors came all the way to panmure to just train, and that is my best highlight was seeing the Warriors.

Advance 2012

This is the time for me to work up levels for 2012, to advance my goals like you've never seen before to reading writing and maths and by behaving  in class. But my main aim for this year is my sports and to gain more experience in  things I have never done.
